Christina Cheuk

Christina Cheuk is a Hong Kong–based family physician and photographer whose work is deeply rooted in her keen observation of everyday human experience. In 2009, she developed a growing interest in photography through the influence of friends and colleagues, which gradually evolved into an ongoing creative practice spanning street, landscape, underwater, and drone work.
Her practice centres on the small, often overlooked moments — the quiet gestures, expressions, and interactions that reveal how people live, connect, and exist alongside one another. Through her work, Cheuk seeks to capture more than beauty or fleeting moments. Her images linger within the emotional space between people, where gestures, expressions, and quiet exchanges reveal warmth, trust, and the subtle rhythms of everyday life.
